Meet Me
Welcome to my library!
Take a seat, pour a cup of tea, and flip through the pages.

My name is Tayman. I am many things. A vocalist, a writer, a producer, an engineer, a teacher. But above all, I am an artist. A being unapologetically living in my creativity. I explore, question, and ponder.
My music is about the voice. The mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual journey of discovering your voice and the complex human connection that comes from it. Whatever that means to you.

I strive to inspire others to create. To wake up to their own strength and power. To find the balance between their masculine and feminine. To nourish themselves and their community. Less consumption, more creation.
Who I Am

A brief history of myself and my education. I fell in love with music at the age of three when I started piano. Elton John was my idol.
This journey took me to community theater, local choirs, and private voice lessons. By high school I was attending Baltimore School for the Arts, was a soloist for the GRAMMY award winning Peabody Children's Chorus, a student at The Tanglewood Institute of Boston University and a part of the Peabody Preparatory Program at Johns Hopkins University.

I had the pleasure of working with The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, The Baltimore Opera Company, The Boston Pops Conducted by John Williams, and The Boston Symphony Orchestra. I was even the Musical Director of Children's Theatre at The Carroll Arts Council.
For college, I spent my first year at Ithaca Conservatory as a voice principal. Then I transferred to Berklee College of Music where I earned my degree studying Music Production and Engineering, Contemporary Writing Production, and Sound Design as a voice principal.
